Cafe Koha

To celebrate her birthday my girlfriend and I had dinner at Koha last Saturday (4/2/06). The food we were treated to was superb.

We booked for 7.30pm and it wasn't that crowded. We both prefer an intimate atmosphere free from loud music and feel a bit intimidated by busy, stark minimalist restaurants. To this end Koha was perfect.

The staff were friendly and attentive, without being overbearing and we could chat away merrily without overhearing other people's conversations.

I had a wonderful squid salad starters and my girlfriend adored the mousse that was presented to her for dessert to a chorus of 'happy birthday' from the staff.

I thoroughly recommend this restaurant for a quiet meal with great food.
