It is definitely intimate but the tables are very close together. The service is quick and friendly but the food was not as good as I expected from the reviews. My game pie came with a pile of mashed potatoe and that was all. For £10.75 I expected more. My wife's breast of duck was very good with a few veg but no potatoes at all. The Fleurie at £18.50 a bottle was very drinkable and the total for 2 starters, 2 main courses, wine, mineral water and 2 coffees was £58.10. This included the so called "optional" service charge of 12.5%, has anyone had the nerve to challenge it?

A great place to eat if you are going to the Bush Theatre, 10 minute walk. Found this on the internet and the food is really good and very reasonably priced. A little crowded and the service is excellent. Try the Thai Monsoon house white wine, it is a bargain and the deed fried ice cream with fresh pineapple is fantastic. Cannot understand the comment about the "rude" man in charge. I think he is the owner and I found him very helpful and friendly
