Hadley House

Went to Hadley House on a Saturday lunchtime. Four of us including elderly mother and aunt. Food was good but service was a bit innatentive. Felt like the boss was away that day. We had booked in advance and got our table ok but didn't see any sign that the tables were reserved. No attempt to help elderly relatives with their coats and no menus provided until we asked. Staff didn't seem to be looking around the room. However the wine was very good and the food too. Staff were very pleasant and possibly overstretched as it was surprisingly full. Good value for money and will be going there again. There is little else to compete in the area.
