Kikuchi

Well went there for my birthday, so luckily didn't need to pay any money.

This is an once an year type of place and as such you should expect to pay an high price.

The atmosphere is very traditional, with jazzy music and an small bar and the great sushi chef preparing his food.

Okay the with fridges with drinks inside and the compact look may be off putting for some but its an authentic, traditional style instead of this sterile, commericalisation you can see in some resturants.

The small features like the display of of knifes, the wooden bench and and the cushions help add to the great mood.

As for staff, I had no such problems, they are honest and informative, as long as you act like an proper customer they are very friendly too.

Quality should be in the food and the food was in my opinion great. Japanese people eat here and on the night I had dinner there it was pratically full. I had a delicious set meal of miso soup, with fried appetisers and an generous big plate of sushi and sashimi before getting some green tea ice cream and and green tea.
