Zucca
Lovely place in a lovely street. Had delicious lunch - chanterelle mushrooms in a pasta dish. So simple, but just gorgeous. Waiter was very professional and helpful and the whole place had a lovely atmosphere. Very reasonable prices.

Lupita
I was a tad disappointed by my burrito here, having read some very favourable reviews. I like spicy food, but what I had was so hot I couldn't taste it. There was no warning from the waitress or on the menu. I thought it was quite pricey for a very small and fairly unexciting-looking dish. My food arrived very quickly and I thought it was a bit undercooked. The waitress was very pleasant and seemed knowledgeable about the different dishes. Hope things get better, as I love this type of food.

I loved everything about the meal I just had at this place - literally - as I really did manage to put a little bit of just about everything on my plate from the huge range on offer at the oval-shaped self-service bar. Plate piled high I crossed my fingers at the weigh in, but it all only came to about a tenner for the most cleverly prepared and yummy plate of vegetarian fare that I've ever had the pleasure of eating. I am thinking of changing my place of work to somewhere near to Heddon Street just so that I can pop in every day.
I imagine that, when it's not drizzly and cold, the outdoor dining area would make a lovely quiet place to escape the hustle and hassle of one-block-away Regent Street. And the decor is cool too - more Wallpaper* than wheatgrass.

Had a wonderful lunch here yesterday. Food, service, ambience, decor and value-for-money all faultless.
The poached duck egg with something fluffy and cheesey that melted in my mouth was just... just lovely. Somehow found room for a perfect example of sticky toffee pudding at end.
We'll be back.

Rochelle School Canteen
Incredibly disappointing. I'd read this place was good, and certainly the dining space was lovely - white and light with big windows overllooking a walled-in lawn which must once have been the school playground. Prices were high, which I foolishly found reassuring enough to make me stay - eg £11 for Lancashire hotpot, £5 for cauliflower soup, £4.50 for cheese and chutney sandwich. It was suspiciously devoid of other diners. I was incredibly hungry, short of time, it was a cold day and there was nowhere else to eat really nearby and so I did my best to eat up and didn't complain til I paid, but I can honestly say the Lancashire hotpot that I had was the most disgusting food I've ever been served. And I'm no spring chicken. There must have been at least twelve bones along with the three mouthfuls of meat - which included a leathery piece of kidney. They ranged from pretty much full vertebrae to sharp little pellets you could choke on. It was jungle challenge meets dog food. For completeness I'll add that the sliced potato topping was no great shakes, the beetroot side dish was rather good and the salad was just extremely large - like someone had emptied a good quality pillow pack onto a plate and not thought about portion size or dressing.
I was greatly outnumbered by the staff, none of who asked me while I was eating if the food was to my liking - even when they cleared my dishes. At the end the waitress did ask, though, and I said it was 'very bony'. Her reply: 'yes - well it was mutton neck'.
