Launceston Place

Came across this hidden gem when on vacation in London! What a pleasure it was. Enjoyed the scallops as a main course and the crab cakes were better than those I get to eat in the States. Had never geard of a Choclate Fondant before, but that's one helluva dessert...all gooy in the middle. My wife was in seventh heaven. Apparetnly the joint is about to be 20 years old. Well folks, that says a lot in my books and I'm from DC where most restaurants last a year at most. Swtiched-on, attentive (and damned pretty)waitress looked after us expertly. We'll be back for sure. Duke
