Zuma

i had dinner at zuma last thursday night with some friends from abroad. i wanted to have a special evening and so it was! the food was fantastic, the five of us had the tasting menu and it was an absolute experince for the palate. i have been at zuma many time before but this time it was a step above. the seabass carpaccio with youzu and truffle oil was sublime and so was the rest of the extensive testing menu. service was careful and our waiter was very funny. the sommelier selected for us sake and the wine to match the food, making it a perfect dinner. different wines for each course and a wonderful bottle of plum sake to go with dessert. this is a perfect place for good food and great fun.it is expensive but it taste, looks and fells expensive. worth all the money you spend.
