The Ganges

I enjoyed the food at this Restaurant, my friend and I went on a Saturday night and there was only one other table occupied but the ambience was nice.

We ordered meat samosas, chicken tikka kebab, poppadoms, raita, ckicken balti and chicken korma, egg pilau rice and a bottle of mateus rose.

The food was really nice, we enjoyed it. The only problem was that the staff were a bit off and not very attentive. If you don't mind that it is worth a visit.

Beach Blanket Babylon (Notting Hill)

I came to London on a xmas shopping trip with my best friend late November and was looking for a good night out. I have visited London 4 times before in the last 2 years and I cant believe I have missed out on BBB for all that time. It was such a brilliant night. The food was gorgeous, one of the best meals I have ever eaten.

To start I had mussels in a wine and cream sauce, they were cooked beautifully. For my main I had Chicken with green beans and mashed potatoes, best chicken iv tasted and the green beans were cooked in a lovely sauce. For dessert I had chocolate tart and vanilla icecream, Im a chocaholic and I wasn't disappointed, however, the portions aren't huge, so dont go absolutley starving.

The drinks were fab, didnt taste very alcoholic but they get you tipsy!

The only down fall is the waiting in between courses, but the atmosphere is so good that you hardly notice. Staff are lovely.

I'll definatley be back for a decent meal and a few drinks at the bar.
