Rasa Samudra
The best Indian in London doesn't really do this place justice. The food is exceptional and the decor and service are comfortable and inviting. I've been a regular for years now and can't imagine ever getting bored of the menu. If you haven't tried southern indian (Kerala) food beofre, try it here and don't bother going anywhere else!
This restaurant is in fact a small chain, this branch only sells fish and seafood, if you want meat then try the branch just off Hanover Square W1

Little Italy
I used to call this place Little Italy, now I call it The Little Italy, I think that says it all! This place isn't a restaurant, it's a legend.

Topkapi
Just like most of the venues I like, this place has a poor decor but also has great food. Just about the only place in London where I'll eat a doner kebab! A welcome change from the trendy Marylebone restaurants. Overall, great food, welcoming service, good value.....voted Capital Radio restaurant of the year 1984 (still has the sticker on the door) and it's still going, can't be bad!

Mandalay
You don't visit this retaurant for the decor, small tables in what is more a shop unit that a restaurant. You do visit this place for great food at a really good price, quick and polite service with good advice (for beginners) from the two Burmese owners.
To those people who say the food is bad, you must have had a cold and therefore dodgy taste buds or picked the safe / most boring dishes on the menu.
