Iím a regular lunchtime patron for 2 reasons: the delicious food and the great value for money. Hence, to paraphrase reviewer Andrew, I believe anyone else who thinks otherwise must be insane!
For £7 I get a mega bowl of wonderfully tasty pho with thin slices of fillet steak (yes, fillet steak in soup!) and a plate of fresh herbs on the side.
The stock is right on the button and the fiery chillies, mint and coriander are the icing on the cake. The fresh herb counter is a nice touch, itís good to see food come together in front of your eyes.
Having recently visited Wagamama where a similar yet infinitely inferior dish (their chilli beef ramen; a bland stock with a few chillies and sirloin steak in it) costs £10 the combination of superior food and lower prices at Pho represents amazing value for money.
