Venus in the Park

We happened to stumble upon this restaurant hiding under the bridge at mile end. I have to say I was very impressed with the decor and the style of the restaurant. My partner and I shared the Halumi cheese and garlic mushrooms to start which were very nice. Unfortunatly (for me) my main course - I chose the duck and apple sauce, and had to pay extra for some carrots and saute potatos. This was a very dissapointing meal. I think the duck was boiled and was completely tastless, the carrots also tasted watery and with no real flavour. My partner on the other hand went for a typically Greek dish of Lamb which was delicious and well prepared. Overall my meal put me off this restaurant as it was so bad I couldn't finish it.
