The White Swan Pub & Dining Room

Had lunch here to celebrate my graduation this week and had a lovely time. The staff were wonderful - looked after my ageing relatives superbly!! The food was top notch - clean plates all round, the hake and fish and chips were especially good. The only niggle was that they were unable to serve hollandaise with my asparagus (it was on the menu??!!) but was still delicious with melted butter. If I went out to lunch in the city more I would definitely be a regular

Lost Society

Had a lovely eve here last week. Good cocktails and food - and prosecco on the wine list, excellent!

Slightly dodgy service from a ditzy but well meaning waitress, our first round of cocktails took an amazingly long time to arrive. After this things picked up.

Overall a great time in fab surroundings - all without breaking the bank. Will definitely be back
