Fig Bistro

We visited Fig last week and what a surprise it was. We were friendly welcomed and seated in the garden under the Fig and served sparkling refreshing champagne whilst having a closer look at the menu. It was all very tempting and we couldn’t really decide and asked if it was possible to have a selection of starters. Fortunately for us it wasn’t a problem at all… The dishes were nicely arranged and very tasty, especially the gazpacho was very appealing and a blast on that warm summer night.

For the main course my friend had shake and I had beef, both dishes were so delicious that we had to share and pay very closely attention to each others forks. The winelist offered a lot of interesting wines and we chose a lovely shiraz which went very well with both fish and beef.

For dessert icecream and rhubarb which is my favourite combination and a glas of port to go with it.

The atmosphere was fantastic, excellent food and the service was very helpful and attentive. Fig is definitely highly recommendable, you get good value for the money. No need to tell that I'll be back!
