We went as a group of four after reading the previous reviews of Patterson's. To say we were cautious about the 50% deal would be an understatement, however none of our fears about being viewed as a second class customer were met.

We all ordered different starters and mains, ranging from the immaculate and well textured crab lasagne through to the fillet steak with oxtail. All the dishes that were ordered were utterly breathtaking. The presentation and the aroma almost made it a shame to eat them, but the combination of tastes and textures definately warrented ruining such picture perfect dishes. My wife ordered the medium lamb rump, which was so succulent it melted in the mouth. One of our party was a strict vegetarian of 14 years, however after the lemon sole, salmon fishcake and sea bass, they are now a strict pescatarian. And all this was before the deserts arrived...To say we died in chocolate heaven would be an understatement.

The service was very good, never rushed, intimidating or obtrusive. This, together with the good wine list and quality of food, means that we will certainly be returning on many occasions in the future!
