Decided to try on a Wednesday night, and it being busy we were led to a table in the cavernous basement, which at least was refreshingly air-conditioned. We ordered quickly explaining we had a show to catch, and our wine arrived quickly enough. 10 minutes later our first dish arrived, slow for dim sum, but nice enough to eat. However, after waiting a further 20 minutes for any other food it became apparent the kitchen was in chaos, and we were by no means the only ones left waiting. Apparently they were short-staffed - but if so why open the downstairs to customers they had no hope of serving?
Eventually we gave up waiting and went to the show hungry. They had the decency to apologise and cancel our bill (bottle of wine and one dish consumed, the rest we had no sight of) but until they get the hang of things not rushing back to try again.
