Fox @ Connaught

Four of us ate last Saturday at Fox @ Connaught. It was a dismal experience salvaged only by the fact that we all liked each other's company.

Two people ordered starters and they were meagre in terms of content, goat's cheese translating as a'few thin slivers with a disguise of salad.

The main courses were very poor and it would have been better to turn down custom rather than offer such dishes. For example a thin covering of one type of pasta on a plate covered in a vivid red sauce was supposed to be a special three pasta dish. The lamb shank was practically raw and tough and the seared tuna as dry as dust.

The service was erratic and complaints came from many diners. I would avoid eating here at all costs unless things change rapidly.A waste of money.
