Tower Tandoori

I've been to Tower Tandoori about once a week since I moved to London a couple of months ago (yes, I have put on a bit of weight!)

The Chef's recommendations are all brilliant, especially the Adrakawala Murgh! Go for one of the Biriyani dishes if you are on a budget (starts around £6.50, and its meat, rice plus a separate bowl of vegetable curry sauce!) They also do a daily special dish and bottle of wine. They also do something called the 'Spice Club' which is a reward card system. Buy enough curry and you get the next one free... Very handy if you're a local!

The restaurant decor is very good and the service is attentive. I can't remember the name of the manager there, but he's a star chap, and always very chatty. Also if the weather is good then you can sit on the two big tables they have on the street. The whole of the front of the restaurant can be opened, so you don't feel isolated from the rest of the diners.

Only thing is that the beer is extortionate! £4.50 for a large cobra (you can buy them over the road at Pinky's for £1.69!) Also they say they offer a free beer when you get a takeaway over £25, but this hasn't happened every time I've been there, so best to remind them about it!

Overall its a great place and they support the local hospital with charity nights, so def worth a wisit!
