Gilgamesh

i went to this restaurant with a friend on the evening on august 9th. we were lucky enough to get in without a booking. first impression of the place is very big, very beautiful and very loud. the multi level decking floor is a tad dangerous for those not being careful where they tread or those that have had a few drinks, we saw one guy go flying. the food was fantastic, made even more so by the fact we waited so long for it. the communication between staff was appauling, the left hand did not know what the right hand wa s doing, and to even get drinks delivered to the table seems to be far too complicated for the staff to grasp, thank goodness for the fabulous decor. the table next to us were also bothered by the appauling service and refused to leave a tip as did we. the person in charge of our table had a superior and impatient attitude, which in my opinion demonstated they probably had had alot of complaints that evening, my summary would be: fantastic decor, perfect food, appauling service. shame really.
