I love discovering good places to eat and to me, Incanto is everything a top restaurant should offer. Too often nowadays, I arrive eagerly at an eaterie to find fussy, over elaborate food, complicated only to prove how clever the kitchen can be.
At Incanto, the emphasis is on fresh ingredients, simply cooked with just enough of a twist to make it interesting. The fillet steak I had was thick, succulent and cooked to perfection. No steak knife was offered, nor was it needed and that tells me everything I need to know about the quality of the meat.
One of my favourite haunts is Galvins, the current toast of London and Incanto strikes a note which is very similar. It is only a matter of time before Incanto is "discovered" and I will certainly be returning before the time comes when I have to book weeks in advance for a table.
