I must agree with all the reviews below.
After trying hard to find a decent priced Singaporean/Malay place, I found Melati to be absolutely perfect.
Although mainly Malay dishes, the waiters recommended the Singaporean dishes which were superb.
The soup was excellent, as was the Satay chicken starter. Although a bit spicy for me, the waiter was on hand to rush water to me when he saw I was about to burn.
I have been to many restaurants in China Town, and have written many reviews on this site, and this has to be the best overall restaurant in London for me.
Delicious food, nice atmosphere and impeccable service. Great night out.

Royal China serves the most fantastic dim sum, I especailly reccommend the Pork Bun and Shangahi dim sum.
Nice atmosphere and reasonably priced for lunch, with great views of the river.
Service was very good, especially if one of the party is Chinese, but I was dissapointed by the main dishes, Shanghai Udon noodles and seafood noodles.
However, I would definetly come here again, and cannot wait to try the other Royal China's in London

The food in Wagamama is ok and quite filling. But it is definetly not Japanese. Like YO Susshi and Wasabi it is run by Koreans. Japanese people would never eat at these places.
As I said, the service is usually prompt & polite, the food never poor and always filling, but they charge too much for 'canteen food'. You're much better off in Brewer Street.
