PJ's Bar & Grill (Covent Garden)
We went as a table of eight and most people were pleasantly surprised. I didn't really enjoy the food, although my wife liked hers. Service was reasonable considering how busy they were and the jazz singer was a bonus. All in all though, you can't help wondering that Londoners would find something better and most people there were tourists that stumbled across it. Using Cafe Rouge (two doors down) as the benchmark for a good and reasonably priced meal, this doesn't really come up trumps.

The Fat Duck
My wife and I went with another couple and it was one of the most amazing culinary experiences of our lives. The food is more of an experiment with your tastebuds and the service couldn't be better. Expect to pay around £250 a head if you want the wine with the tasting menu. Can't really put value into the equation, because there aren't many other restaurants like this in the world.

So Restaurant
Great food, service with a smile and can't complain about the price with offers. Authentic japanese food and atmosphere. Leave space for dessert!

Viet-anh Cafe
I went last night with my girlfriend and thought the food pretty bad. The spring rolls were ordinary, the chicken curry had awful-quality chicken and the deep-fried fish was almost inedible. Only the home-made lemonade was worthwhile. Considering the choice in camden, I couldn't recommend it. Reading previous reviews, I'm tempted to try the pho, but life is too short, so I'll try it elsewhere. Service was friendly and timely.
