The Cinnamon Club

It was my wife's birthday and so I decided to book a table at the Cinnamon Club. The starter -Bombay vegatables was fantastic as too was the main dish. The chef and his team have done a great job in transforming traditional indian food fare found up and down the country. Being vegetarian the choices were slightly limiting. However the dishes that we chose were very nice, only spoiled by the abundance of too many cumin seeds in the main dish.

The stuffed paratas were fantastic and generally the presentation of the food was top notch. The only slight letdowns were a)ordering two starters and only receiving one and b) On one occasion having to refill one's own wine glass. The decor was nice. however we felt that the main seating area still lacks a centre piece and perhaps live piano playing would be a nice touch?

Overall a great resturant and well worth another visit.
