Bank Westminster

We booked this restaurant for a work celebration lunch on a Friday & were looking forward to a buzzy lunchtime crowd in the restaurant attached to a well recommended bar! We chose to dine from the set menu and were disappointed from the outset - - it looked unappealing and not worth the nearly £20 a head!

The service was great - fantastic bread selection and the house wines we picked were perfect for the type of food on offer but the food...... well we started with the cointreau pate and it smelt odd and none of us could get through the entire thing & as for the main, we all had the pork, and it was literally the biggest, greasiest pork chop I have ever seen (besides in a dodgy greasy spoon somewhere!!).

Desert was ok, but nothing to write home about and even our coffees were bitter and cold.

Definitely somewhere I'll not be returning to, I hope their night time service is better!
