My husband took me to this restaurant on Friday night for my birthday and I had a great time.
We sat at the bar which surprisingly still felt very intimate due to the low lighting and was great for watching the chefs in action.
The service was good and the food was excellent. If quantity is important for you in a meal then this is NOT the place to go but if, as it is for us, the quality is paramount then you will be in 7th heaven! Our starter was toasted bread with a morel, parmesan and tomato puree which was exquisite. I then had the steak as a main and it was cooked to perfection.
This is definitely a 'foodie's' restaurant and the atmoshphere is tres chic, tres suave. I would definitely go there again for a romantic dinner although it is very expensive so maybe just for a special occasion.

There are very few good places to brunch in London, so I was dead chuffed to find this place.
Perfect for spending a few hours chatting to friends and eating traditional english grub, it's not haute cuisine but it is fun, and definitely more grown up and more interesting than Giraffe.
I took some French friends there when they came this weekend and they absolutely loved it (rare to get a thumbs up from the French for English restaurants)!
But definitely reserve a table if you are going on a Sunday lunchtime as it was v busy.
