This place is BRILLIANT. The dim-sum is authentic, fresh and absolutley delicious and there is a long list to choose from. The service was quick and the staff were friendly - they even cracked a few jokes which, as regular Wonkei's visitors, made us nearly fall off our chairs. The cost for three of us to stuff ourselves silly, whilst enjoying the sights and sounds of China Town from our table in the window, was a mere £19, which included a beer each! The tastiest and cheapest dim sum I've ever had in London, and in a great location.

Food 10 | Service 10 | Atmosphere 10 | Value for money 10
Having been a fan of The Narrow for a long time, a friend and I turned up last night in the hope of having a bite to eat in one of our favourite East End spots - perhaps it was a little naive of us to expect to get a table without booking first, what with all the Gordon Ramsay buzz, but it seems a shame to have to decide a month in advance that you fancy a bite to eat at your treasured local! We were surprised also that dining is confined to the restaurant area, whilst the many tables in the pub and in the lovely beer garden outside are for bar snacks only. It seems a shame not to extend food service out into the rest of the pub, as it would treble their takings and lessen the waiting list. To curb the hunger before we went elsewhere in seach of dinner, we sampled the Black Country Pork Scratchings from the bar menu, which were delicious, but came in the teeniest ramekin - it's a shame that the bar snacks aren't more substantial, considering the unlikelihood of getting anything else to eat! The restaurant menu did look very appetising though, and resonably priced.
