The best restaurant I have eaten at in London. The food was exquisite - I have never tasted scallops like those that came with my Plaice. And the Salmon and Crab starter was a work of art.

Equally as impressive was the sparkling Tasmanian White wine we had to begin with. At £34 it was £5 cheaper than the lowest priced Champagne and came recommended by the excellent Sommelier who said it was a better value drop of bubbly than forking out extra just to pay for a wine from a region in France!

I finished off with the cheeseboard. Extravagant in the extreme. I kept trying to tell him that I had ordered enough and he kept say 'Are you sure? Why not try this goats cheese from Saxony... please taste this West Midland Cheddar'.

Wonderful - we will be back... if we can get a table.
