Easily one of the worst, if not the worst resturant in London. We had a booking there last weekend for a birthday party of ten or so. My group had already entered and booked a 'Cave table', and so as I was about to enter, I was asked to remove my hat. The hat was not offensive, or Chavish in the slightest, and was actually quite expensive. When I asked the manager why, he said it was 'The law in London'. Now I have been living in London for over 25 years, and never once have I known of a Law that states thou shall not wear headgear whilst dining. Although I tried to communicate with the manager that I as the customer, was thoughroughly offended, by his actions, and his tone of voice when addressing me (basically making me feel as though if I was not satisfied I could leave), and when I asked him why this 'law' existed, apparently it was because the downstairs is a club. Wow. Obviously either the manager has not been clubbing in London (in which case he would know that Clubs in London do not close at 12am, and do not serve Kebabs, but moreso that they allow its paying members to wear any style hat, and on top of all that, actually have a good dj that mixes and plays new music), or he cannot differentiate between a cheap mesh resturant that really does not know what it is, and a nightclub. Whats worse, is that when I finally got downstairs, in all honesty, I would make an order for 4 drinks, and not get one. I had to keep reminding the waiters to bring me the beverages I orderderd, so the Service gets a pure ZERO, the food was completly drab, so gets a 1 for effort, the atmosphere was ok, but the music was terrible, that gets a 1, as value for money? Ha! We ended up paying £150 each. For ten people, that calculates at £1500. Complete rip off. Never Again. I would not reccomend this place ( I shall defer from calling it a resturant, as it seems the management itself does not knwo what it is) to ANYONE. Easily the worst place you could possibly go to in London.Ever.
