deVille
Have just lunched at deVille with a group of seven friends and can confirm the very positive reviews recieved so far.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the staff are friendly but not fussy and all of us felt that the food was excellent. We ate from the set menu (£20 for two course, £25 for three) - very good value for money. The food was imaginately presented, very tasty indeed and the portions were just right. The only tiny criticism is that the service was a little leisurely - but as we were chatting away perhaps they were just giving us time to enjoy our lunch.
Overall, a perfect place for a post- or pre-shopping treat.

Tamarai
I would love to have been able to review this restaurant. A group of 10 friends of mine had a table booked (a month in advance) for a renunion dinner.
However... three days before the booking Tamarai rang to cancel as they had "a large group to accommodate", ie they got a better offer. Disgraceful.
So, if it is in anyway important to you that they actually honour your reservation I'd suggest going elsewhere.

Bucci
Is it just me, or does it strike anyone else as odd that the two bad reviews of Bucci are (a) anonymous and (b) both use the same slightly odd English?
I have eaten at Bucci several times. It isn't going to win Michelin stars, but it is a cosy, local Italian with reliably good food and welcoming staff. It's a great choice for a low key meal out.
