Chowki

Pretend Restaurant! - To call this a restaurant would be insulting the genuine restaurants- as its a fast food joint or tiffins centre. The service is really bad with staff very rude and pushing all courses together just because they have a 'RULE' which is on the menu card to this effect. Feels like one is eating against a clock and has to leave when alarm sets-off!! We were not even served dessert or coffee cos we had oustayed the max allocation of use of a table for one lot of patrons - reason given that they were very busy!! We had been there under an hour when the bill was presented. When I wanted to speak with the owner/manager, he was not available - and the person to whom I complained about this behaviour, replied rudely that he'd pass on the message and that they were very busy (?? BUSY insulting patrons perhaps!!) and kept showing us the door, even while I was talking to him. If you want a quick bite but dont want to eat at McDonalds and can take the rudeness - this is the place. However, anyone with an intention of enjoying a meal, should DEF AVOID this place. I would not be coming back and would never recommend too. There are many other Indian eateries, which are welcoming, offer great food and superior quality service.
