OXO Tower Brasserie

I haven't eaten here for a couple of years but remembered enjoying it then, so suggested it as a good spot for a celebratory lunch with my son and his before he left UK. Well, we were certainly in for a shock ! Out of 6 main courses, 3 were indedible and one (sea bass) was cold. I had spinach ravioli which was smothered in some salty green goo posing as pesto with (salty) goat's cheese crumbled on top. The 2 osso bucco were described as 'greasy and slimy' and 'worse than out of a canteen'. I have eaten better meals at my local in Herne Hill for a fraction of the price. They are taking the proverbial michael and can (and evidently do) get away with it because of its location and transient tourist trade (as a londoner, I would never go back) The wines were good, service average, but the food is a disgrace (I can't believe the other reviewers ate at the same place so recently ! maybe the chef was on holiday last sat, not that that's an excuse) Very disappointed indeed.
