Gourmet Burger Kitchen (Fulham)

Great burger place, if you are willing to spend an extra £3 or so (ie restaurant burger prices) this is very worth it. My recommendation is the blue cheese burger with a vanilla milkshake!

Just round the corner from me, so it's useful, but there is never any customers in there, and therefore no atmosphere! Not bad though and friendly staff

Beach Blanket Babylon (Notting Hill)

Have been there a few times now. If caught on a good evening (ie they have food, and the waitresses are in a good mood!) it is an amazing place, unrivalled for atmosphere, food is fantastic.

Luckily I have never caught them on a bad evening, but can kind of imagine that they get very arrogant and useless under pressure. I think you just have to be quite forceful with them..!

ps - the fillet of beef is INCREDIBLE, best bit of meat I've ever tasted honestly!
