On a Monday evening, we sat at the bar downstairs; it was very busy.
Overall, really wonderful food, haphazard, often somewhat grudging, service, in a rather noisy room. Couldn't fault the dishes, though, and that's why I plan to return.

The fourth time I've been to CM this year and still, I think, one of the best value prix fixe lunches in London for the quality of the food, the service, ambience and wine list.
Took five members of my family. They have been before, but again throughouly enjoyed every moment of the expereince. Right beside the Piazza, this is a hidden, quality gem in an otherwise unprepossessing area of London for decent restaurants.
Highly recommended - and will definitely be returning.

Having read previous favourable reviews, I chose 'Caravan' for brunch with four friends at the weekend. It turned out to be a good choice.
Service from the attractive, young staff was friendly, informal but also attentive; the dining room is relaxed with, on the sunny day we visited, the doors and windows open - creating a pleasant airy room; finally, the food was delicious, well-presented and arrived quickly.
Overall, we couldn't fault anything. Everyone in the party agreed it was an excellent 'find' and is looking forward to returning soon.
Congratulations on establishing a great new venue on the London Brunch Scene.

The second time I've visited Refuel recently and had the set menu. Again, it was an excellent experience and super value for money.
It was a Friday evening, so the place was buzzing, but we were quickly seated at a a very good table. Service from then onwards was attentive, freindly and informal. Importantly, we were not in any way treated as second class citizens for not going a la carte.
At £42 p/p, my group all agreed the food, venue and service was spot on and great value for an evening out in W1 (this included two bottles of wine, water, bread, a couple of additional side dishes and service).

Delicious food, great service and a lovely dining room. Oh, and 50% off the food bill (when booked through this site's offer). What's not to like?
Highly recommended and will definitely be going back.

Having enjoyed the set lunch here some weeks back, I returned for dinner with a friend a few days ago. It was again excellent.
Went a la carte this time (the dinner set menu finishes at 7pm). The choice of dishes is wide and the quality of the food high for the reasonable prices charged. Despite being extremely busy, service was again friendly and responsive.
PV has got the formula right. There's nothing grand or pompous about it; the place simply serves good, reasonably priced food in a friendly fashion. Central London could do with more eateries like this.
I like it very much and will definitely be back, as well as recommending it to friends.

Having read recent reviews I was a little concerned about returning to The Princess, somewhere I used to enjoy very much but hadn't dined at for some time. I needn't have worried.
Five friends and I enjoyed a superb, three-course dinner of quality ingredients, an interesting mix of flavours and beautifully presented dishes. Not one of us could fault any of what we'd ordered.
The wine list was also extensive and well-priced, and service was exactly as you'd want in an environment like this: discreet, friendly and responsive.
All in all, based on our expereince, it seems The Princess is back on track and I look forward to returning soon.

Grabbed lunch here the other day, selecting from the 7.95 set menu. A great choice of dishes was offered and a reasonable selection of well-priced wines.
For the price, everything was very good indeed. My main course in particular was delicious and service was friendly and fine. I definitely intend to eat here again.
In these more frugal times the lunch menu offers excellent value for money.

A wonderful restaurant: the dining room is a gorgeous and good-looking space. Service is prompt, informal and pleasant, and the wine list is extensive. However, it’s the excellent food that sets Le Cercle apart.
Like its sister restaurants Club Gascon and Comptoir Gascon, this is not a “French restaurant” in the traditional sense (and those below criticising the sizes of the portions are really missing the point).
Dishes are small but the idea is that you order three or four of them, and then a dessert or cheeses if required. That said, we’re not talking nouvelle cuisine here; but instead well-sourced and beautifully prepared tapas-sized delicacies. It’s a tasting menu and one that – for the quality of the food – is very good value.
A really superb dining experience. I can’t wait to go back.

Very good indeed. Enjoyed the the three course meal offer promoted on this site, and the food, service and ambience were all excellent.
The salt cod with aioli was perfect: light, flavoursome and obviously freshly cooked. The main course of duck was equally superb. Desserts were good too, although not the highlight of the evening. Service throughout was polite and attentive. Overall, the evening was faultless.
I would highly recommend this restaurant, and will definitely be returning.

Visited with a friend on a quiet evening (I suspect due to bad weather). I say quiet, all except for a very loud table at one end of the restaurant. When asked to be moved, the restaurant handled this well and discreetly.
This is a good-looking restaurant with a relaxed but considered atmosphere and great staff. The real reason to visit, however, is for the outstanding food.
The diverse menu is interesting and brings together superb quality ingredients. Combined with excellent presentation, dishes served are I think some of the best in London (reaffirmed by the accolades the place has received).
From experience, service can be a little slow - but this is partly to be expected from food that is this well-prepared. Anyway, throughout, the staff are extremely pleasant and attentive.
Highly recommended and will definitely return.
