Kulu Kulu Sushi (Brewer Street)
My girlfriend had told me she wanted to eat at a sushi restaurant so I took her to Kulu Kulu on Brewer Street which we had never been to before.
We sat down and saw the food going round on a conveyer belt which we could pick straight up. Different coloured plates went round denoting different prices for food but all quite reasonable.
The service is a little patchy at times however. The menu says help yourself to tea but we could see none. The staff just seem to let you get on with the food and don't disturb you.
I ordered some drinks in Japanese but maybe they were confused about Westerners speaking in their language. Maybe it was just me.
The main thing is that we both enjoyed the restaurant and would go back again and try other dishes.

Ramen Taro
When you enter Taro the staff say welcome in Japanese but they are not Japanese. I made the mistake of ordering food in the language and was told "Sorry but I'm Korean". Anyway, the food is fine and the service is ok. On a busy day it can get quite noisy but it won't break the bank going there.
