My girlfriend and I went there for an early dinner on a week night. When we arrived there was only one other couple eating in an otherwise empty dining area. The waitress showed us to a table but my girlfriend told her she preferred another one nearby. The waitress quite abruptly said "No, you cannot have that, it is for four people.". Keep in mind that the place was empty. We ordered a beer and a chelada. Aside from being a touch expensive at about four pounds a bottle, the beer was nice and cold. We then ordered some pork tacos and salsa and tortilla chips to start . My girlfriend ordered the chicken enchilada for a main and I ordered the lamb taco. Both starters were excellent (if not a little small) and tasty. We were relatively pleased but then it went very wrong. When our mains arrived we thought they'd mucked up the order. My girlfriend's plate consisted of two "enchiladas" about 8 inches long and an inch in diameter. The enchiladas were filled with dry, tough chicken meat and nothing else. They were covered with a sprinkling of barely melted cheese and were swimming in about a quarter inch of a tasteless salsa verde which had the appearance and consistency of green slime. My "taco" was exactly the same except it was filled with shredded lamb and covered in a tangy sauce. Both mains were presented with a handful of old shredded lettuce. Neither were very nice at all. It was possibly the most spectacular own goal I've ever seen a restaurant perform. It was laughable. We simply could not believe that anyone in their right mind would consider what we were served to be anywhere near of value. I'm not sure what the restaurant was trying to achieve but they failed miserably. The blow was softened slightly by a early bird discount on the food but even then it was poor value. We won't be going back and won't recommend it to anyone.

I am going to throw a wobbler here.
We arrived at 7pm and were seated downstairs. I immediately noted that there was something wrong as we weren't offered a drink - something that is highly unusual for an Asian restaurant. It took 15 minutes to get drinks. After another 15 minutes my wife went searching for a a waiter and demanded that they take our order. We waited one and a quarter hours for our starters to arrive. They arrived staggered and one in our party received his starter 15 minutes after everyone else (2 hours after arrival). At this point I became very annoyed at a waiter and we were offered complementary drinks. Another table nearby also had had enough. They got up and left. Other tables were bursting into applause at the arrival of food.
Our mains finally arrived at 9.20pm. Although, we did not receive any rice, lentils or naan bread. After complaining, half our rice arrived, as did the simultaneously burnt and undercooked doughy naan. Half the rice order and the daal did not ever arrive. My jalfrezi was good but insubstantial, as was my mutta paneer. Two out of the seven mains were cold and inedible.
We asked to see the manager. A senior waiter who is not the manager came to see us. We asked to see the manager. After 10 minutes the manager showed up. He issued some weak apologies.
We should have got up and walked out but stupidly asked for the bill. They had reduced the bill (including tip) by about 45%. I paid and left. We should have received a more significant reduction but I could not be bothered arguing as it would have made an ugly night even uglier. We just will not be going back there and we will be spreading word of our experience far and wide.

Astonishingly good. Staff and management at places like Wagamama might learn something from these guys.

Very nice. The staff are friendly. One particular waitress is very funny and quite cheeky.
The food is excellent and portions large. The Pollo Alla Romana is very very good.
The only drawback is the lack of starter sized pastas and rissottos.

Very very good. The staff are extremely friendly. We particularly liked the free aperitif and digestif.
We went there for a casual birthday dinner. The staff found out that it was my birthday and scrambled to ready a very nice cake (on the house). The accompanying triumphant happy birthday music was very embarrassing for me but everybody else seemed to be having alot of fun.
Make sure you try the Nepalese cuisine.

Popular restaurant. The food is very good. The place is busy. Don't expect a quiet, romantic atmosphere. The waiting staff could improve a little. However, the place is so popular, I think they can afford to rest on their laurels.
Better than average.
