OXO Tower Restaurant

My husband and I visited this restaurant for our anniversary and we were both very impressed. We booked on the day (a Monday) and we able to get a table for 8pm, although we arrived early and were seated straight away.

The staff were lovely, attentive but not at all overbearing. The restaurant itself was nicely decorated and the views are amazing (although we didn't really get to appreciate them because of the weather). My only issue was that we were seated next to another couple and the tables were just that bit too close - in that we could have literally joined in their conversation, but even this was a minor thing and didn't spoil our evening.

The food was all spectacular, incredible flavours and a lot of choice. Choosing my dessert was the hardest choice as they all sounded and looked amazing. We both went for the chocolate plate which the waiter recommended and we were not disappointed. The bread which was offered was also excellent and I had several slices of the hazelnut and raisin loaf which was delicious. The wine list was very extensive and offered many wines by the glass as well as by the bottle.

Overall we had a lovely evening. It is expensive to eat there, but for the quality and service, it was worth every penny.
