Service with a smile and nothing is too much trouble attitude - so refreshing that good service exists.
Open and balcnced menu that will appeal to all tastes. Rustic wooden serving boards that complement the urban exposed brick work and wooden floors. Sometimes you can judge a kitchen by the wuality of their chips the chips at HG were non greasy, crisp and seasoned - excellent.
Will be back for the good value Sunday Lunch that also featured on the menu and also the the vast choice of beers (bottled).

What theatre! The clientele this restaurants attracts is colourful! From wannabies, WAGS, old, young, plastic fantastics - it's definitely worth going for the show!
Yes it is expensive, yes the plates are clunky and look like they have been picked up from BHS canteen 20 years ago but it was fun and the food was good. By no means is this a gastronomic experience but tastes like quality home cooking.
The grissini are a tad salty, the kidneys were succulent in their meaty gravy, the canneloni was pure comfort and the veal ragu was superb. The chocolate icecream the best i have tasted but so it should for £11.50 for three scoops!
What the hell, yes the bill was expensive but it was an experience!
