My husband and I visited the Mango Tree Valentines week and there was a special set menu offered. As we hadn't been to a Thai restaurant before this made things much easier for us and allowed us to sample dished we otherwise might not have chosen. We arrived about fifteen minutes late but no fuss was made and we were still able to have a drink in the bar and have a look at the menu before taking our seats. The staff were very solicitious but unobtrusive. Despite the tables being quite close together we were able to have a private conversation without feeling overheard. The food arrived promptly and was delicious! I did not like the bottle of wine which was served as part of the Valentines offer and the staff were happy to take it away and replace it with a bottle of my choice. Eddie Lim the owner was in attendance that eveing and came over to introduce himself and askk if we were enjoying our meal, this was a very nice gesture. We would definately visit the Mango Tree again and are thinking of taking clients to the sister restaurant, Awana in Sloane Avenue.
