La Piragua

La Piragua is not a fine dining restaurant neither is it really first date material. What it offers is good sized portions of simple but very tasty food. the £13 650gm steak was fantastic as were the starters and the mixed plates. (Note to self - must eat plantain more often). We went on Saturday night - no complaints at all with the service and the atmosphere was great.

Prices are good - £9 to £14 for mains, £4 for starters and avg £15 for a decent bottle of wine.

Overall its an unpretentious restaurant offering very tasty food for a good price.
