Moshi Moshi Sushi (Liverpool Street)
Sushi from the refrigerator, not from the hands of the chef -- brought in, under clingfilm (yes, I saw the rolls sitting there), from an off-site kitchen and sliced, or plated out and decorated, behind a curtain at the end of the conveyor belt. Cold rice without flavour (none of that puff of partly sweet, partly vinegary aroma that comes from rice scooped warm from the steamer tub), wasabi that through sitting had lost its punch; although the fish was good, the sushi experience was dire. Add to that a 50p "cover charge" per person and £1.70 for a (small) pot of tea per person, and I find no reason to visit this restaurant ever again. Let me put it this way: A step up from Sainsbury's takeaway packets but not something for someone who has ever had proper sushi!
