We popped in here for a quick bite before a concert (having walked out of the Greyhound opposite because they were charging £15 for linguini and £15 for burgers! ) We only had one course and a half bottle of wine but were struck by the friendly atmosphere, the kind waiter and the great food at which was very reasonable value. When we got the bill they announced that there was a 25% discount on all drinks on an ongoing basis - nice surprise.
I would highly recommend this place for a quick bite, although next time I will make sure I have the whole evening to linger and enjoy!

Food 10 | Service 10 | Atmosphere 10 | Value for money 10
We had walked past this place so many times and been put off by the pastel front which looked a bit too family oriented for us. We finally took the plunge one Saturday night and keep going back.
The service is friendly and welcoming. The menu is fairly short, but enough variety and fantastic quality. It's great value, particularly because they do a really good quality house wine which is served by the 1/2L or L at £12 per litre.
This has become a firm favourite of ours and it's great to see such an individual farmily run place doing so well.
