Leong's Legends

I ate here with friends recently and loved it. It was Saturday night and we had no booking, but had no trouble getting a table. We ordered a mix and shared plates. The food arrived quickly, steaming hot and absolutely delicious! I am vegetarian and found plenty of choice on the menu. I was pleasantly surprised by the bill - around £20 a head with a beer each and plenty of food. Nom, nom nom!

Mildred's

I ate at Mildred's last night with a friend and had a lovely evening. Contrary to many of the other reviews, we found the staff very friendly and efficient and up for a laugh.

The food was delicious - massive portions! We didn't have to wait long to be served but did not feel rushed. As a vegetarian it is such a treat to have the whole menu to choose from instead of being stuck with the obligatory 'vegetarian lasagne'.

My only criticism - its very small and can feel rather crowded. Definitely not the place for a romantic date, but great for meeting friends.

I highly recommend the burger with sweet potato fries.... mmm.... definitely going back.
