La Cucina

Went here for a lunch on Monday. Empty upon arrival and quickly filled up. With an hour lunch available, they took almost 2 hours to get the food prepared and served. Second round of drinks took so long to come the food had been eatena nd we were ready to go. Upon asking if there was any suace of any kind for the steak as it was dry and plain, the waitress stated they were itallian and not mcdonalds, but not only mcdonlads serves meat with somesort of sauce. There was also onto of the normal tip, a £1 charge per person added which was a bit much for the bad service we recieved, as we were not the only people wonderign where our food had gotten to, not to mention that it was cold when it arrived. Our work group will not go there for lunch again

Gordon Ramsay at Claridge's

Me and my partner went here as a treat from his boss for him doing such a good job. We arrived and were promptly shown to our table. We had a lovely view of a bin parked outside the window but didnít mind as the brilliant waiter made light of it and constantly made comments relating to the scenic views around London. He was a great guy, and he also recommended an excellent wine, which he chose from the description of were having the chicken and pork, and she doesnít like wine. But it changed my mind!

Soup was brought out and I have never liked pumpkin so left mine to the side after trying some. This seemed to upset the waiter who rushed off apologising and brought out a cauliflower soup which I also donít like, but ate it so the he wouldnít bring something else out!

The chicken next which was ok, sauce was nice but chicken itself a bit bland...

my boyfriend had the pork checks and said they were the nicest thing heís ever eaten, so smiles all round there. Desert was nice to say the least! and the after dinner chocolates and tea were also superb.

All in all it was a brilliant experience, waiters were worth their weight in gold only thing I had a problem with were a few people there obviously eat there every night or something as there were one or two stuck up tables.

but will definitely recommend to anyone to try it as its an experience worth the money.
