I've visited this restaurant twice in the last month. I rarely visit restaurants without reading reviews first but went on a whim and am so glad I did! The service here is quick and responsive, the food stunning (more on that later!) and prices very reasonable for the cuisine and the location - just around the corner from Trafalgar Square. So far (and I say this as we WILL be back to continue working through the menu) my partner and I have enjoyed the tender and flavoursome 'weeping tiger' dish, spicy and delicious chicken panang, chili & lemongrass chicken, beef in oyster sauce, spare ribs which fell off the bone and a number of other sides and have been very happy with every single dish we've eaten. We've missed great Thai food desperately since a trip earlier in the year but think we have finally found our new favourite restaurant. Give it a go - you will not be disappointed.

Food 9 | Service 9 | Atmosphere 9 | Value for money 9
I shared a light bite here with my girlfriend on the weekend - we had the calamari which was delicious as well as huge and the hummous which was yummy but not a particularly large portion. I also had a fab iced coffee and we shared a pavlova which was really good. It's a little pricey (£24 for the above) but the food, staff and atmosphere are all lovely so we'd definitely return.

This was our second visit to Pinchito but will probably be our last. The first time we went the food and service were excellent, but this time we found the service to be slow and the food, although tasty, was incredibly salty (and this is from someone who is a total salt fiend!). The best part of the meal was the churros - hot, sugary and fresh with a gorgeous warm chocolate orange dipping sauce. Yum.
Unfortunately we wouldn't return as the food is quite expensive, so not worth the risk of being salted to death.

I'd been wanting to come here for a while, but unfortunately the food wasn't up to much. It wasn't bad by any means, and the portions were generous, but the food tasted just ok - nothing special. The service is here is really friendly and the restaurant was packed, so maybe the chef was just having an off day....

I've had quite a few meals here now and the service seems to be getting better all the time - much faster and friendlier than previous visits. As always, the thai calamari is to die for - yum!! The food here is tasty and perfect for sharing - a great restaurant for a casual lunch or dinner.

Food 8 | Service 8 | Atmosphere 8 | Value for money 7
My girlfriend and I visited this restaurant on Monday, and really enjoyed it.
The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, and the food was great! We had the belly pork (one of the day's specials) which was crispy and tender, patatas bravas, serrano ham, garlic prawns, calamari and crunchy bread with tomato. The servings looked quite small but we were totally full up with these 5 dishes and they were all very tasty.
For dessert (after finding some more room in our bellies!) we had chocolate con churros - thick, dark, almost liquid chocolate with hot sugared doughnut-type breadsticks to dip into it - gorgeous!
The homemade lemonade was refreshing and delicious, and waitresses always on hand to help or supply more drinks/food. The atmosphere was pleasant, even though there were few customers - it was early on a Monday night - and I got the impression that the staff enjoy working there, which gives it a good vibe.
Overall, we were very happy with our meal and will be returning in a couple of weeks time with friends for a birthday party!

I've been to Busaba three times in total now and have never been disappointed with the food. The calamari is absolutely to die for - I cant describe how utterly delicious it is! The last time I was there I had the ginger beef which was also gorgeous. The service is fast and friendly (though can be slow to take payment), and although I'm not keen on sharing tables it's not problem. Great place to take a group of friends.

This is a lovely cosy Thai restaurant in Wimbledon and definitely worth a visit. It's usually quite busy but the service is always friendly and prompt. The menu has all the usual Thai classics and they also have a specials board which changes regularly. Also, when they say spicy they mean spicy!! Really yummy food and great value - recommended.

We went to Pacific Kitchen on Monday night - it's a small pub between Elephant & Castle and Borough stations, and really beautifully decorated. It was quite quiet when we went and the service was really friendly. However, it was really really slow. Our starter (quail) arrived half an hour after we ordered - quite a wait - but it was delicious. We then waited some more (!) and finally our mains arrived - pork claypot, a dry/glazed chicken dish, pho and egg fried rice. The pork was really gorgeous - melt in the mouth and so tasty. The rice was also really good. Everything else was a little bland to be honest (though still fine) and they use shallots a lot - possibly too much! All in all it was a long evening, but very enjoyable and in lovely surroundings. I'd definitely go back to the pub for a drink, but probably not to eat again.

I'd been really looking forward to visiting Rasa Sayang after reading loads of positive reviews, and when I finally went last Friday I wasnt disappointed. Between me and my girlfriend we ordered hokkien mee, nasi goreng and roti canai. The roti was really good, and the accompanying sauce had tons of flavour and a little kick (much less fiery than C&R's!). The hokkien mee was huge and came with an interesting selection of seafood, but luckily didnt taste overwhelmingly fishy. Finally, the nasi goreng - it came with some chicken satay and wonderful peanut sauce, as well as the obligatory fried egg on top. I especially liked the tiny pieces of carrot in the rice, but I dont think it was as well flavoured as C&R's version. All in all a very tasty meal (with a very useful menu that has photos of everything), but I think C&R is still probably my favourite Malaysian restaurant in London....

I went to Indigo with 3 friends last night. When we arrived at 7pm we were the only people there and there was no music playing, so it felt a bit odd and quiet. The service was fast, but as the only customers there we felt we were being patrolled/watched a little, though this changed when another group arrived. The food was definitely good and the naans were excellent, but it wasnt the best curry I've ever had.
The bill came to around £60 or £70, but as we had a tastelondon card this cut the bill down to £48 including service - not bad. I dont think I'd return as there are better Indian restaurants out there with much more ambience, but it was still a good meal out.

I went to Radha Krishna with my girlfriend for the second time last night. The service can be a little slow, but once we ordered the food came really quickly. We had a kozhi varutha curry (very good) and a chicken masala (also good, and not the usual you get from a takeaway), plus some rice and poori. Really tasty and good value.

This friendly local restaurant serves tasty well-priced food, with a wide range of pastas and pizzas. Definitely worth a visit if you fancy a change from curry!

We ordered takeaway from Masaledar on Sunday night - 1 hour 25 minutes later it finally arrived. We werent impressed - the chicken tikka masala was just about edible but didnt taste like any chicken tikka we'd had before, the onion bhajis were incinerated balls with greyish onion inside and the naan was doughy and tasteless. Definitely not worth the wait and we wont be ordering again.

I was looking forward to trying this Malaysian restaurant, but was unfortunately disappointed. The starters we had were really good - the chicken satay came with a good peanut sauce, the roti canai was great and the sauce with it nice and spicy. The mains were a real disappointment though - the mee goreng and other noodle dish we had were both really bland, which is the last thing you expect from this kind of food. The service was good, but we wont be returning.

I absolutely love Fujisan, but dont go too often as it's not the cheapest restaurant around. They do the best tempura (vegetable and prawn), with wonderful light batter. Other favourites include gyu skewer (mouth-watering thinly sliced beef), pork ribs, yaki soba and the best ever miso soup! If that doesnt fill you up then they do gorgeous slabs of chocolate fudge cake (not terribly Japanese, but yummy all the same!). I must go back soon.

Not sure why this place has such great reviews... I went to Zipangu with my boyfriend yesterday evening and was really disappointed. The miso soup was ok, but certainly not great. My yaki soba had barely any chicken in it and although it tasted fine, it was nowhere near as good as I've had at other places. My boyfriend had the gyoza, which tasted quite bitter and chicken-don which was pretty bland. Wish we'd gone to Wagamama instead! Plus they charge £7 for tempura - whaaat?!

The food is pretty blah and overpriced to boot, but the milkshakes! My favourite is a chocolate malt, my boyfriend's is the oreo shake... Creamy, gorgeous and probably a million calories! Stop for the shakes, but dont bother eating there.

I went here the other month with my dad one weeknight and we were the only customers which made for a quiet atmosphere! The service was good, but I thought the food was more Chinese than Malaysian. It was quite expensive too. Nice, but not what I was expecting.

I've been looking for a great Malaysian place since Mata Hari Bistro in Vauxhall closed down - this is a great alternative. I had the Kampung Style Nasi Goreng which was lovely (and huge) though not "very spicy" as advertised on the menu, along with gorgeous hot roti canai. I'll definitely be returning!
