Went there on a Tuesday evening with around six friends. We were there fairly early (6pm) so were the only people in the strange hotel lobby space - very nice and bright but a curious layout for a restaurant.
The food was excellent, hot food was piping hot and cold food was chilled. There was a huge range of food - very good value for money - I had plenty of sushi, peking duck wraps, dim sum and mains with rice. Everything looked fresh, the vegetables were bright green as opposed to that tired look you can sometimes get from a buffet. I liked that there was a mix of fried foods - battered chicken with lemon sauce, prawn crackers and healthier options like mussels in black bean. I may have eaten my own bodyweight in the desserts alone!
Service was good although a bit slow to start, took a while getting our water but then very attentive and always coming to collect the (many) empty plates that stacked up.
Not the most atmospheric place, but very good for a big group where people are on a budget and you don't want to fuss around dividing up the bill.
Would def go there again.

It's a wine bar. So it's all about the red-and-white-and-sometimes-pink stuff. The food is good, but there are a few less than great dishes on the menu. Starters tend to be better than mains, which are well-meaning but a bit dull.
The Boy kicked off with a fish soup which was pratically a stew, full of health portions of fishy goodness. Afterwards he had a chicken and vegetable pie which was hearty enough in terms of portion size but not as warmingly tasty as it should have been. I fared a bit better with a rather lovely steak tartare and then a kind of average chicken with puy lentils.
The service though, was excellent, just on the right side of friendly without actually getting in the way. I am also very fond of the decor, crip white linen work for me.
Next time, stay and linger over the wines and nibble at some bar snacks.

I have never had a sit down meal here, I admit. For me, though it's just a case of a grabbing a luxuriously bad-for-me chocolate malt milkshake to go. It's not cheap, but it's well worth it when out and about on hot London days.
Or even cold ones.
