Yes, it does seem that The Ebury has changed- I would rather say to the MUCH worse!!!
I used to come to The Ebury quite alot but last weeks visit will stop me from doing that!
When we arrived for reservation there were no one at the door to great us so we ended looking around for someone to help us.
Everyone we tried to ask completely ignored us and one waiter rudly pushed us aside!
We eventually managed to find the receptionist, who was munching on some food. She sat us down without any apology or even a smile.
The food was ok eventhough it was luke warm. The service was very slow though- it took us 25 min from ordering to receiving our bottle of wine! When it finally arrived- served by the manager (at least someone dressed different than the rest), it was corked... We orered beers.
The manager on duty seemed very stressed and was constantly shouting and screaming at the already miserable staff.- it was almost like being in the theatre!
The atmosphere was terrible and the food less than avarage- but very over priced!
The Ebury is somewheer I will NOT go back to in the near future!!
