Extremely disappointing. I phoned The Collection to make a booking for 30 people. I was told that if booking for so many guests in advance I had to chose one specific appetizer/main dish/dessert ie. basically everybody would have to eat the same. Despite this awkward offer I decided to have a look at the restaurant. It took me 3 attempts to get clear directions over the phone, almost as if they didn't want me to find their place. Once arrived, I talked to their accounts manager to discuss the booking in more details and to ask if they could offer more dishes to chose from. I was told if everybody made his/her choice 2 weeks in advance, then yes. Again, when I questioned this still rather funny offer of having to order food two weeks in advance, I was basically told rudely to look somewhere else. I was stunned about this rather interesting approach to chase away a customer that would have brought a considerable business to them. So, I didn't even get to the point of trying their food. While the atmosphere was kind of interesting (an old warehouse converted into a restaurant) their customer service definitely lacks a huge amount of professionalism. I wonder if their general manager knows how their staff deal with their customers. It doesn't seem so.
