Oasis

This is an upmarket cafe with downmarket prices (for Vauxhall). If you're looking for a belly-buster breakfast look no further. £3.99 including tea or (lovely) coffee. The Thai food is reasonable priced and delicious (Thai Chef)... I recommend the fried rice with meat, vegetables or king prawns, the choice is yours.

For value-for-money and to fill the gap before mincing round the many Portuguese bars along the Lambeth Rd why don't you give Oasis a try.
