I came here with two vegetarian friends and we were't really sure what to expect. On the whole the food was great as was the wine (although please note one of my friends is excellent at picking wine)!

The only minor complaint, is the live music, which was fantastic, did make it impossible to have a conversation! However we decided to just kick back and enjoy the music as we chose to sit in the back room, we could just as easily have opted for the front room.

oh and I ordered a strawberry daiquirie, which was made with fresh strawberries.... it was delicious, although by that point I had consumed a large amount of wine......

Overall, nice place, good atmosphere, nice food.

La Piccola

Found this place by accident a few years ago, but the good food and service have just kept me coming back, even after I moved across the other side of London.

I love food, but don't profess to know much about it. Top London restaurants can be daunting and expensive. But this is a no frills nice local italian where the starters, pastas and desserts are great, with reasonably priced wine too! Perfect for a romantic dinner where you just want good food, good prices and no pretentiousness. Simple but delicious.
