Salt Yard

15 of us ate at Salt Yard last night & we all had nothing but praise. The staff were excellent, giving great service and advice. The food was lovely - we asked our waitress to choose for us & we got exactly the right amount of food (often restaurants will wheel out too much) and it was all excellent. We had some very reasonably priced wines which were very drinkable and all-in-all had a great evening. We meet fairly regularly for dinner and I think this is the best restaurant yet.

When I booked I was told we had a 7.15 to 9.15 sitting, but 9.15 came and went without a mention - I think we left about 11 in the end.

Lots of food, wine and desert cost about £40 per head.

I'll definitely be going back.
