The Market Place

What a disapointment it was! The service at the Marketplace is below any standard, especially for Chelsea. The staff is demotivated, grumpy and borderline rude, so much so that we decided to have deserts and coffee in the nearby place as we agreed that we should not entertain such service. Nobody made any attempt to tell us how long we would be expected to wait in the queue, once seated, the waitress impatiently waited above our heads for us to place orders after we had only been given a minute to look at the menu. We received the wrong food, and the second we finished our meals they started circling the table hoping we would leave immediately. The table next to ours was also upset with them - they did not leave them any tips, neither did we. If they cannot be asked to provide a minimum standard, they should sublet the place to someone who will look after the paying customers!
